Valentine's Outfits!

The Christmas season flew by this year but I am so READY for 2010 and what is in store for Bellabowz! First up are these super cute Valentine's outfits! While bowz will always be my first love I am TOTALLY enjoying making these beauties!

I have to say though if it weren't for my AMAZING friends who are full of encouragement and support I would never EVER make these to sell! I've been dabbling in the sewing world for awhile but only for my own Bella and not for other people! Well i've finally agreed to "test the waters" and so far the response has been OVERWHELMING!! I feel so blessed and grateful...I just can't help but smile!

So here are some examples of the custom outfits I've made lately!
This one also has ADORABLE black leggings with sequin ruffles and leopard hearts!

This super fun outfit is funky enough for everyday but still Valentine-y enough you feel the love!

And this one for a special photographer friend of mine is perfect for her very own princess! Her daughter and Bella were born the same day 2 years ago and K has the same amount of spunk as Bella Grace! So since I know first hand that most pictures are of a 2 yearolds backside I figured I'd make it extra cute!

Bows Bows and more Bows!

So we will start with the 3rd edition to the spring line up...This shocking pink bow with lime accents just screams summer!! I love it so much that I can't wait to make more! It works with my theme " matching everything doesn't have to be boring" and I feel this one will match loads of the new spring/summer outfits on the market right now!

I love this bow!! Again...inspired by a customer who ordered this dress.

Matching everything doesn't have to be solid!

A get loads of orders for 'bows to match everything'. The concept I totally understand, who has the money for a bow for every outfit, I know I don't. However...just because it needs to match all different outfits doesn't mean you are 'stuck' with a solid boring bow! Nope...you can have a one color bow with lots of patterns ( or just a few) and it still go with everything in your closet!!

Here are some quick examples I recently made for Manett....

My bird bow sets have really taken off...most popular is the 'Peacock' set. I sell most of these to photographers but this one is for a mom who loves Peacocks and her little girl who will wear it for her 1st birthday pictures! Destiny...it is on its way!! Hope you love it!

Audie contacted me wanting the perfect first birthday tutu for her little princess! She is proof not all princess' like the traditional pastel pink and froof! Audie requested a more 'punk' tutu for her princess and I was happy to oblige!

Stephanie...

I do a lot of bows for photographers. They use them as props and cute accessories for their tiny princess clients. When Stephanie of Snell Photography contacted me I figured it would be what I was used to!

Boy was I wrong! Stephanie didn't need bows for photos, she needed bows for her very own princess. Stephanie's daughter wears uniforms to school, sad, plain, navy blue uniforms. Stephanie finally figured out a way to make her daughter stand out. The only rule on bows is it must have 'some navy' so she sent me instructions and let me get creative!

The only good thing about being ...

related to the bow maker is free bows! Yep, the only advantage to having me as an aunt is my ability to make bows! Well that and I am super fun!

Sadly, more often than not being related to the bow maker offers no benefits because my nieces bows get pushed to the bottom of the list under the paying orders. This time their mom was smart and asked for Halloween bows in August! Well I just got them done but I hope you girls love your one of a kind, made especially for you, Bellabowz!

As predicted our Halloween Collection sold out sometime mid-September. I made an astounding amount of Trick or Treat and Candy Corn bows! A whopping 56 Halloween bows flew out of my studio!! 56, can you believe it??? I am SO EXTREMELY grateful for all the amazing customers I have met in the last few months!! You have made my passion for crafting a business and I cannot be more excited about what the future holds!
So in between the requests for the Trick or Treat bow ( our number 1 seller), spiders, and the candy corn mini's, I did get the chance to make a few custom Halloween bows! Some have already been posted but these are 2 my favorites!

Back in business!

Thank you all for your prayers and support! My dad is still in ICU but hopefully we will be taking him home. Things were super scary for a little bit now but thankfully Pop decided to fight. It is going to be a long journey but at least we have a few more weeks to make memories.

Here are some pictures of orders from last week! I had a few orders done, and still loads to finish but I have my bow making stuff at the hospital and since there is nothing better to do, i find myself getting more done than previously thought.

It seems like orders go in waves, one week 6 Aggie bows, the next 11 Halloween bows, and this week it has been tutu crazy! I've been working like a mad woman to get all the orders completed but i wanted to stop and post pictures of the fun tutus!
