I will make one of each outfit and in return offer you a significant discount for a picture of your Bellabowz Baby in said outfit for use in advertising on both Facebook and the Bellabowz webpage and any future endeavors deemed necessary.

The Christmas season flew by this year but I am so READY for 2010 and what is in store for Bellabowz! First up are these super cute Valentine's outfits! While bowz will always be my first love I am TOTALLY enjoying making these beauties!

I have to say though if it weren't for my AMAZING friends who are full of encouragement and support I would never EVER make these to sell! I've been dabbling in the sewing world for awhile but only for my own Bella and not for other people! Well i've finally agreed to "test the waters" and so far the response has been OVERWHELMING!! I feel so blessed and grateful...I just can't help but smile!

So here are some examples of the custom outfits I've made lately!
This one also has ADORABLE black leggings with sequin ruffles and leopard hearts!

This super fun outfit is funky enough for everyday but still Valentine-y enough you feel the love!

And this one for a special photographer friend of mine is perfect for her very own princess! Her daughter and Bella were born the same day 2 years ago and K has the same amount of spunk as Bella Grace! So since I know first hand that most pictures are of a 2 yearolds backside I figured I'd make it extra cute!

So if you've tried to buy bows lately you've noticed the website is not working...well that's because we are getting a whole new look. Bellabowz is changing! It has been 2 years since the inception and since we are {fortunately} getting busier I figured it was time to bite the bullet and get a 'real' site:)

So that is coming soon! I can't wait for the 're-grand opening' celebration! So stay tuned!

If you've noticed there hasn't been much in the way of posts as of late...mostly because I am so busy:) So when I can take a breath I'll post some of the latest new stuff but rest assured the favorite 'original' Bellabowz are still my favorite to make! {{Just an FYI...i've made 22 Perfectly Pink bows in the last 2 weeks..that is crazy}}

So on to something I am super excited about! What is it???

Over-dolled Overalls of course:) In staying true to all things Bellabowz these are unique overalls with a little pizazz:) The idea came from a customer who needed a set to celebrate her husband who is a Marine and just got back from training. I can't tell you how honored I was that she'd trust my skills enough to make her daughter something fabulous to celebrate her daddy! My dad was also a Marine so this was an extra special assignment!

A get loads of orders for 'bows to match everything'. The concept I totally understand, who has the money for a bow for every outfit, I know I don't. However...just because it needs to match all different outfits doesn't mean you are 'stuck' with a solid boring bow! Nope...you can have a one color bow with lots of patterns ( or just a few) and it still go with everything in your closet!!

Okay...so Bellabowz is starting to slow down in preparation for Prince Charming ( you know baby Pierce...we just refer to him as Prince Charming). I will have a 'maternity leave sale' soon and let everyone know when it will be effective but it IS coming..so get your orders in. I haven't posted in FOREVER! I promise...it will happen soon!

I am happy to announce I am averaging 13-16 orders a week!! That is A LOT of bows!! It is so lovely to have repeat customers! It makes my heart smile!!

I will be posting a montage of the over 40 Christmas bows that have flown out of here in the last month! It has been nuts...we've had fancy bows, metallic bows, everyday Christmas bows, crazy Christmas bows, and some that are simply cute! I've also had the great pleasure to make Cowboy's bows, camo bows, polk-a-dot madness bows and so much more!

For now Bellabowz is officially on break!! I will re-open with a rejuvenated creative flair and hopefully finished versions of the ideas floating around in my head...think giant felt flower bows, newborn stuff, smaller bows for bigger girls, updated myspace, completed website ( finally), posting of the new Bellabowz babies pictures i've received and a completely new spring line!

Plus I plan on finally making Bella some bows of her own! Poor kid...her mom makes bows and she goes bowless...so sad!

I do a lot of bows for photographers. They use them as props and cute accessories for their tiny princess clients. When Stephanie of Snell Photography contacted me I figured it would be what I was used to!

Boy was I wrong! Stephanie didn't need bows for photos, she needed bows for her very own princess. Stephanie's daughter wears uniforms to school, sad, plain, navy blue uniforms. Stephanie finally figured out a way to make her daughter stand out. The only rule on bows is it must have 'some navy' so she sent me instructions and let me get creative!

Stephanie I had a great time 'getting creative' with you and creating some super fun bows to make your princess standout from the rest! I hope you like your bows!

related to the bow maker is free bows! Yep, the only advantage to having me as an aunt is my ability to make bows! Well that and I am super fun!

Sadly, more often than not being related to the bow maker offers no benefits because my nieces bows get pushed to the bottom of the list under the paying orders. This time their mom was smart and asked for Halloween bows in August! Well I just got them done but I hope you girls love your one of a kind, made especially for you, Bellabowz!

The girls like smaller bows...simple chic...not the usual Bellabow but I still love to make them!

This is to let you all know I will no longer be offering 'sale' items on EBAY.

It is a VERY unfortunate thing because I like to be able to give everyone access to my bows, EBAY was a way for me to offer the Bellabowz quality at a potentially discounted price. Instead I have been burned one too many times by buyers.

The last 'straw' so to speak was a buyer who sent an email stating she received her items but wanted a refund because the package was damaged. I have no control over the postal service and it is ridiculous to think that i would be responsible for them losing or damaging items. C'est Le Vie.

So from now on there will be no more Ebay Sales. Please stay tuned for sales on our regular site.

As predicted our Halloween Collection sold out sometime mid-September. I made an astounding amount of Trick or Treat and Candy Corn bows! A whopping 56 Halloween bows flew out of my studio!! 56, can you believe it??? I am SO EXTREMELY grateful for all the amazing customers I have met in the last few months!! You have made my passion for crafting a business and I cannot be more excited about what the future holds!
So in between the requests for the Trick or Treat bow ( our number 1 seller), spiders, and the candy corn mini's, I did get the chance to make a few custom Halloween bows! Some have already been posted but these are 2 my favorites!

Thank you all for your prayers and support! My dad is still in ICU but hopefully we will be taking him home. Things were super scary for a little bit now but thankfully Pop decided to fight. It is going to be a long journey but at least we have a few more weeks to make memories.

Here are some pictures of orders from last week! I had a few orders done, and still loads to finish but I have my bow making stuff at the hospital and since there is nothing better to do, i find myself getting more done than previously thought.

So Nicole here are your bows! I hope you love them! Nicole is in my moms group and stopped me in the parking lot at our last meeting! She was so happy to find a bow maker close that she order 6 bows total! Somehow, i managed to let her first 2 bows get by without pictures but I hope you like the rest of your order! Hi!

Currently Bellabowz is on hold until my dad is out of ICU. LIfe is precarious and at the moment we do not know for sure he will make it. Due this I will not be at home to get your orders filled. I will refund your money if you do not feel you can wait to get them, i completely understand.

I have several I made this weekend and those will go out but for the others it will be at least 3 days before I can get back here to make bows.

It seems like orders go in waves, one week 6 Aggie bows, the next 11 Halloween bows, and this week it has been tutu crazy! I've been working like a mad woman to get all the orders completed but i wanted to stop and post pictures of the fun tutus!

Many of the best ideas are inspirations from something else...that trend continues here at Bellabowz. Brandi our good friend and photographer wanted to take a picture of a baby in a bird bath. After too many glasses of wine and laughter later, I said, 'Why don't we dress Bella like a bird and do it". I also wanted to add 'worms' but that got vetoed.

The 'bird baby' shoot was one of Brandi's most unusual and surprisingly most popular. Visit her website www.b4photography.com for more pictures, but here is my favorite from the shoot.
A few weeks later I received an email and a new idea was formed. The peacock bow.

A mom was having her daughter's picture taken and saw the bow in the back of the car...an idea was born. Cindi immediately ordered her own 'bird bow' plus many other custom creations! I hope you like your bows!
